For A Friend
by Raja Haroon Qayyum
I seek for him, everyday and night,
As I dream of his face, shining bright.
For days and days, I searched for him,
But every day ends up in night.

Though I never lost the hope,
And kept on climbing up life's rope.
But now I see he's up so high,
It makes me feel I wanna cry.

Cuz now he is so far away,
And both of us will stay that way.
Cuz now he is in heavens, so high,
I am so sad, I wasnt there to say Good-Bye.
