Squawks

Air travel is generally considered the safest mode of transport, and much of this is due to constant maintenance by ground staff and a vigilant eye kept out by the pilot. Aussie airline Quantas, call pilots' reports 'squawks' and ground crew are required to investigate and log a response to each one. So, sit back and feel confident in the safety of flight...


Pilot Problem: Aileron control very light
Solution: What aileron?

Pilot Problem: Starboard wing has greater flutter than Port one
Solution: Loosened Port wing fixing.

Pilot Problem: Test flight OK, except autoland very rough
Solution: Autoland not installed on this aircraft
