Do You Have Information?
By Curve

You can make a difference in these times of troubles. Apart from keeping your computer secure, you can also help DALnet by keeping your ear to the ground and passing on any information you may have.

    What Should I Report?
  • Bot attacks on your channels - do a /who #channel when they enter and give the IRCop you speak to the log.
  • Spam you may receive on joining a channel - most of these websites are infected!
  • If you have run a file which has infected your computer - pass the file on to an IRCop if you still have the .exe
  • Threats from anyone about attacks
  • Any hidden servers you may come across which have bots on them
  • Any person who says they are using a trojan
  • Anyone you see issuing commands on a lot of bots in a channel

Where Should I Report This Stuff?
  • Find an IRCop - either in #operhelp, or by doing a /stats p command, or by doing /motd services.* and contacting a CSop listed there
  • Send your information to the Exploits Team by using the form here
